this Collection
I started thisFROG collection(C) with my reading frog a few years back.
I had been commission to do several paintings for a client, and he called me to come and talk about another.
Well when he said a Frog and leaves, I just looked at him.
In shock, I said, "Yes, 30 x 40 is fine!" All the way home I couldn't believe I told him, I could do this.
I fretted, and cried, and screamed ! Why Me? FROGS !!!!
Why can't I say "NO!"
Ok, I prayed alot , and contuined on.
It was going in the bedroom, so I made it night.
They travel, so went the globe.
So I hope as I add to my collection, you enjoy them, I see a book one day.
I have truely found though art what is inside of myself. What a therpy and an adventure.
Please browse through my other art too.
I have 8 x 10, 11 x 14 ... Giclee prints

Rosa, lives on the Rio Grand River Banks, with her family, under the 3rd Cotton Wood.
Rosa works hard during the day, making Frog tortills's and cleaning.
At night, Rosa, dresses and goes to dance.
Some information on the Mexican Hat Dance.
The dance is characteric and representative of Mexico and symbolizes the man's courtship of the
woman, who in the beginning rejects him, but then accepts him.
The man tries to impress her, with his tapping & stomping showing his machismo.
The woman rejects him, thinking he is drunk.
The man then throws his hat on the ground and as the woman stoops to pick it up, the man kicks
his leg over her head showing now he has conquered her.
Mexican Hat Dance is a way of espressing one's emotion delight
