Santa Fe Doors
by Patsi Hughes on 7/10/2008 11:33:53 AM

I had taken this picture in Santa Fe, New Mexico, when my friend, Barbra Simmons, and I were walking up Canyon Road.
It was in the Spring. Everything was Blooming and the weather was great.
Santa Fe is just such a different the Town. Government and art. Lots of art.
You can feel it all around you, and it is. From carvings, metal, silver, weaving, its all there.
It was a great time, with alot of inspiring ideas.
I think my heart will always be in New Mexico.

I remember the day we walked and walked and walked up Canyon Road to the restaurant...just a little bit further!!! What a good time we had! I own a lot of Patsi's art. I'm very fortunate to have her as a friend! I am astonished at her talent! She just keeps getting better with age! (Surely I didn't say that)! But Patsy, where is the picture of the Santa Fe Doors??

Rember the "Walk"?
We were meeting some people for lunch , by the O'Keefe Musum and thought we knew where it was. Well we walked about 100 miles up Canyon Road.
Cotton Balls flying all around, eyes watering, nose running, exhausted.
Come to find out it was just a block away from O'Keefe's. We had quite a laugh.
I can't believe you said that either Yicks.
Yes Barbie has been though a lot with me.
Start in the sixties in High School. YICKS!!!!!
Best Friends are the best!!!!!
